Partner Linda Hansen was quoted in an Inside Counsel article, “Foley’s Hansen Leads Successful Emerson Electric Appeal,” on September 11, 2015. The article highlighted the patent appeal for Emerson Electric Co., which was led by Hansen and Foley’s IP Litigation team including Jeff Costakos and Kadie Jelenchick. Hansen was quoted saying, “While it is rare for a jury verdict of validity to be overturned on appeal, [Foley] successfully attacked the testimony of ABT’s liability expert, whose opinions were based on misunderstandings of the law.”
