Attorney Emily O’Leary has been named to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. O’Leary was selected for her legal achievements, including successfully defending a Fortune 50 health insurer in multiple bid protests of an award of a more than $1 billion contract to provide Medicaid managed care services to the State of Iowa in the State’s largest ever procurement, defending a publicly traded company during an investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission, serving as second chair on a four-day jury trial and her extensive pro bono work. In addition, she is heavily involved in the Jacksonville community through numerous organizations spanning a wide range of activities. O’Leary is the president-elect for the Junior League of Jacksonville, and will begin her term as president on June 1, 2016, and is chair of the Law Day Committee for the Jacksonville Bar Association, a member of the United Way’s Resource Management Team, Women’s Giving Alliance and Leadership Jacksonville.
The publication annually recognizes 40 of the city’s up-and-coming professionals who are leaders in business, philanthropy and the community.
O’Leary will be recognized, along with the other honorees, at the Business Journal’s event on April 26, 2016.
