Partner Elizabeth Haas has been named to the Wisconsin Law Journal’s 2017 “Women in the Law” list. This annual recognition honors outstanding female attorneys across the state of Wisconsin who have made significant strides in their respective legal practices, and within their communities, and who are committed to helping other women. This year, 29 women were placed on the “Women in the Law” list.
Haas has extensive experience representing her clients in all types of business litigation and arbitration, including routine commercial matters, bet-the-company litigation for matters pending in federal and state courts and before various federal and state agencies, and sophisticated, high-stakes commercial and financial disputes in several industries. She also serves as Foley’s Antitrust Practice vice chair and is also the vice chair of the Foley Milwaukee office’s Recruiting Committee.
Haas consistently strives to promote equal opportunities in the workplace and support the women around her both within her career and in the community. She is a mentor to younger female attorneys at Foley and recently served on the board of the Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee. She has also been making a difference while serving on the board of directors for Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse, Inc., a nonprofit organization that raises money for breast and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
