Gardere Partner Carrie Hoffman Named to Top 50 Women Lawyers in Dallas by Texas Diversity Council
Gardere partner Carrie Hoffman has been selected by the Texas Diversity Council as one of its 2017 Top 50 Women Lawyers in Dallas. The list recognizes and honors women who have not only achieved personal success, but who have also made it possible for others to more easily follow their footsteps.
According to the organization, the women who are selected receive a high degree of peer recognition for leadership excellence and professional expertise. They exemplify a noteworthy commitment to fairness, equity and justice in client representations and professional collaborations, maintain a superior level of integrity and dignity across the full spectrum of legal dealings and responsibilities, and demonstrate a commitment to helping other women succeed.
Hoffman, who serves as co-chair of the firm’s labor and employment practice group and chair of its retail industry team, represents and counsels major employers nationwide in all areas of labor and employment law across a wide range of industries. Hoffman is highly regarded for her experience with wage and hour issues, as well as employment discrimination and retaliation claims. She regularly reviews and drafts employment agreements – such as covenants not to compete – and advises clients on a wide variety of labor and employment issues.
