Partner Nathaniel Lacktman has received the American Telemedicine Association’s 2019 Champion Award.
Lacktman, Chair of the firm’s national Telemedicine & Digital Health Industry Team, was honored for his exceptional character, leadership, and continued service to the association and the telehealth industry.
The award recognizes an individual who has made significant contributions to ATA’s strategy of advocating for public policy changes that open payment support and provide regulatory pathways for telemedicine and digital health. Given to one person a year, recipients must have a demonstrated track record of leadership in educating the public about telehealth services, and working with federal and state government officials to expand reimbursement of, and eliminate barriers to, telemedicine and digital health.
Lacktman received the award at the ATA Leadership Dinner on April 14, 2019, during the ATA 2019 Annual Conference and Expo in New Orleans. “It is an honor to receive this award for contributions to the telemedicine industry,” Lacktman said. “I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented team of lawyers, and thankful for the support of innovative, passionate people who want to change healthcare for the better.”
