Schroeder Comments on NLRB’s Revamped Employee Handbook Rule Test

Partner Don Schroeder was quoted in a Law360 article, “NLRB Gives Employers Leeway In ‘Boeing’ Handbook Rulings,” about a spate of recent rulings by the National Labor Relations Board applying its revamped employee handbook rule test that make it easier for employers to defend policies against claims that they violate federal law.
Schroeder said the rulings have made the test much more favorable to employers. “I think employers have been given a fairly detailed and transparent road map for developing employee workplace rules and policies that will withstand scrutiny by the NLRB,” he said.
