Partner Christopher J. Donovan was quoted in a Law360 article titled, “The Defining Pandemic Moments For Health And Life Sci Attys.” The article solicited recollections from attorneys about the unprecedented impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and how it tested and profoundly reshaped our health care and life sciences systems.
One such impact was a decline in health care M&A activity in early months of the pandemic. However, Donovan told Law360 that M&A “came back with a vengeance in Q3-Q4 of 2020. He added that the shift to virtual meetings provided greater flexibility for bankers and PE investors who could suddenly, “”visit four cities in one day” for meetings, Donovan added.
