Foley & Lardner LLP partner Nicholas Ellis is quoted in the Politico article, “UAW promises more pain for Big Three: ‘We’re not messing around’,” commenting on the rising pressure on the supply chain as the United Auto Workers’ work stoppage continues.
Ellis explained that the supplier side is now “feeling more of a pinch.” He added that suppliers are also anxious that the recent expansion of the stoppage to include a flagship manufacturing plant in Kentucky could be a sign that the union is looking to target more “pain points.”
