Mergers & Acquisitions
Foley & Lardner LLP partner Louis Lehot shared perspective on the year ahead in the Mergers & Acquisitions article, “2025 M&A Outlook: Macro Concerns and Mega Trends.”
Asked what his major macroeconomic concerns are that will influence M&A activity in 2025, Lehot highlighted the power of the U.S. dollar.
“I am concerned that the dollar is not so strong that it makes our exports too expensive or encourages us to import too many goods that domestic onshoring of our manufacturing requirements is further stalled out,” he explained, “particularly in the area of advanced semiconductors.”
