Katherine Catanese and Adrienne Walker Elected to American Bankruptcy Institute Leadership
Foley & Lardner LLP partners Katherine Catanese and Adrienne Walker have been elected to American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) leadership positions.
Catenese is now ABI’s Vice President-International. Walker is now ABI’s Vice President-Diversity & Inclusion. Both attorneys will serve two-year terms.
Catanese, who is vice chair of Foley’s national Bankruptcy & Business Reorganization Practice, assists troubled companies facing critical points in their businesses in solving problems related to financial distress and restructuring, especially those facing cross border insolvency issues. She also represents creditors, investors and funds in all insolvency litigation with specific expertise in fraud-based litigation arising in the insolvency space.
Walker is a highly regarded advocate who focuses her practice on business restructuring, commercial finance, workouts, and bankruptcy litigation. Representing a diverse range of clients, including in the health care, manufacturing, and education sectors, she deploys a strategic and efficient approach to maximizes clients’ interests and recoveries in the face of business uncertainty and financial distress.
ABI is the nation’s largest association of bankruptcy professionals, made up of nearly 10,000 members in multi-disciplinary roles, including attorneys, auctioneers, bankers, judges, lenders, professors, turnaround specialists, accountants and others.
