Michael Hatch Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award by The Daily Reporter

Foley & Lardner LLP retired partner Michael Hatch is the recipient of the Kevin O’Toole Lifetime Achievement Award as part of The Daily Reporter’s Newsmakers of the Year series.

Involved with several billion dollars of real estate matters throughout his nearly fifty year career at Foley, Hatch served as lead counsel across many of Milwaukee’s most significant real estate transactions, including: the Milwaukee Center, East Pointe Commons, The North End, University Club Tower, Cathedral Place, the Harley-Davidson Museum, The Kenilworth Project, Bader Philanthropies Global Headquarters, the North American Headquarters of Seda International Packaging, the Rite-Hite Global Headquarters, the Fiserv Global Headquarters, the Firstar Center, and Glanworth Gardens.

Hatch’s deep commitment to greater Milwaukee’s revitalization extended beyond his legal work. He played a founding leadership role at Menomonee Valley Partners, Inc., a public-private partnership behind Wisconsin’s largest brownfield redevelopment, and Near West Side Partners, Inc., another public-private organization focused on the revitalization of seven Milwaukee neighborhoods. Both initiatives have been recognized nationally for transformative urban development.

Honorees will be recognized at an award ceremony on October 8, 2025, in Milwaukee.
