Foley Partners with Utah Business to Host Roundtable Discussion on AI in the Workplace
Foley & Lardner LLP partnered with Utah Business to host a roundtable discussion on how artificial intelligence is transforming work.
The discussion brought together several prominent Utah business leaders in the technology sector to share practical insights on navigating the rise of AI, including its impact on the workforce, essential skills for workers leveraging AI, and the role regulation and policy play in shaping responsible AI growth.
In the Utah Business article summarizing the roundtable, “‘Stay human:’ 16 tech leaders on how AI is transforming work and what skills actually matter now,” Foley partner Whit Johnson shed light on adapting AI in the workplace.
“The individual that’s best positioned to leverage AI is the expert — the person that doesn’t actually need it,” Johnson explained. “We [need to] fill in that gap to create expertise in the next generation so that it can continue to evolve and not devolve.”
Looking ahead to the future of work, Johnson added, “I’m excited to see how the world solves all the new problems.”
