Foley & Lardner LLP’s Raleigh office is spotlighted across the media for its relocation to Tower 5 in the North Hills Innovation District (NHID) in Midtown Raleigh.
As Foley celebrates the two-year anniversary of its Raleigh office, the move reflects the firm’s continued commitment to the Research Triangle while providing a modern, well-connected environment that supports collaboration and client service.
In Law.com, Office Managing Partner Joseph Dowdy said that the relocation “brings Foley’s sector-driven platform even closer to the industries fueling the region’s expansion.” He emphasized the firm’s culture, stating, “What has stood out most since launching Foley’s Raleigh office two years ago is the strength of the Raleigh business community and its spirit of innovation and collaboration.”
Dowdy also noted the continued growth in areas such as health care, life sciences, and technology, describing them as sectors that “align closely with Foley’s core sectors.”
Speaking to Triangle Business Journal, Dowdy said the location “is everything we stand for. It’s a space where things are on the move and they’re happening. It’s a space that is part of the up-and-coming Raleigh community. It’s a place where we’d be close to the other businesses that are fueling the area’s growth.”
On office growth, he emphasized, “Rome wasn’t built in a day, obviously, but I’d love to see us at 25 to 30 [attorneys and business professionals] in a few years, and bigger than that shortly thereafter.”
Dowdy also added that the office selection was also guided by a focus on workplace experience and client service. “We’ve tried to design the space very much, with the help of our architect, to be a space that we can enjoy working together with our clients as much as we can while getting their important work done.”
