Elliot Ambort combines a strong education in mechanical engineering and the law to help companies safeguard and maximize the value of their innovations. His experience includes drafting patent applications, drafting patent licensing agreements, drafting office action responses, and developing strategies for responding to office actions based on thorough analysis of patent histories.

Before attending law school, Elliot gained practical experience as an intern with leading global manufacturers of industrial motors, generators, controls, and machinery. His duties included conducting performance and quality testing on robotic motors.

Elliot is a member of the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice. He began at Foley as a summer associate.
