Claire Canestrino helps clients navigate regulatory updates and changes to federal and state laws to ensure compliance. Claire is a member of the firm’s Health Care Practice Group and began at Foley as a summer associate.

Prior to joining Foley, Claire was a disability policy intern for the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, and she interned for the Healthcare Rights & Access Section of the California Attorney General’s office. In these roles, she gained experience analyzing state and federal health care laws, monitoring regulatory activity, and evaluating the potential impact of policy changes on health care stakeholders. Before law school, Claire assisted physician groups with identifying underpayment risk areas and helped veterans secure disability benefits through the VA administrative appeals process.
