Harry Carlson is a retired partner with Foley & Lardner LLP. He was chair of the firm’s Professional Development Committee and vice chair of the Business Law Department for the Milwaukee office. He also served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and in a number of other management roles in the firm, including chair of the firm’s Finance Committee and head of the firm’s Corporate Finance Department. Harry’s practice included representation of both public and private companies in a broad variety of business and financial matters. The representation included financial institutions, and manufacturing and service companies. He has written and spoken on a variety of corporate, business and financial planning topics.

Harry has been a member of the Lawyer’s Committee of the Association of Bank Holding Companies and is the former chairman of its Securities Committee. He regularly counseled the firm’s banking clients on the organization and operation of trust operations, and has represented the Wisconsin Trustees’ Association in contested bank charter applications.

Harry was Peer Review Rated as AV® Preeminent™, the highest performance rating in Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system.

He was a member of the American and Milwaukee Bar Associations and the State Bar of Wisconsin.
