Michelle Chew brings experience in business law, with a focus on contracts and finance. Most recently, she served as a summer associate at Foley & Lardner LLP in Chicago, where she researched and drafted memos analyzing the practical and contextual considerations of organizing as a 501(c)(3) versus a 501(c)(4). She also led a client meeting to facilitate updates and coordinate next steps, ensuring continued progress on the matter.

Previously, Michelle was a legal intern at Builders Vision, where she authored and presented a memo on the implications of the Corporate Transparency Act and supported in-house counsel across legal areas, including contracts, investments and funds, tax, and philanthropy.

During law school at Indiana University, Michelle was a Flannery Family Office Scholar, an executive managing editor of the Indiana Journal for Global Legal Studies, earned Oral Advocacy Honors in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, and was a Lead Practice Group Advisor for 1Ls.
