Jonathan Goodman
Special Counsel
Jonathan Goodman’s practice spans all aspects of patent prosecution, procurement, and strategic counseling. He represents clients in a range of technological fields, including computer software, AI and machine learning, cloud computing, semiconductors and packaging technology, lasers and optics, mechanical technology, and cellular networks. Jonathan also counsels clients on patent portfolio development and patent issues relating to noninfringement, invalidity, and freedom-to-operate.
Prior to joining Foley, Jonathan worked for more than 10 years in boutique intellectual property law firms, focusing on patent preparation, prosecution, opinions, and transactions. Before becoming an attorney, Jonathan worked as a process engineer for a manufacturer of air treatment appliances.
