Nora J. McGuffey

Associate

Nora McGuffey focuses primarily on bankruptcy litigation and financial restructuring matters. She represents and advises debtors, secured lenders, creditors, purchasers, and other interested parties in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court workouts, and related adversary proceedings. Nora is an associate based in the firm’s Chicago office, where she is a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Business Reorganization Practice Group.

Prior to joining Foley, Nora served as a judicial law clerk for Judge Karen B. Owens at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware and for Chief Judge Karen K. Specie at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Nora is admitted to practice only in Texas, and is not admitted in Illinois.
