Associate

Benjamin Schwab helps insurers and related entities achieve their business goals through navigating complex regulatory issues and the full range of dispute resolution. He represents insurance industry clients in all lines of business, including accident, life and health, property and casualty, surplus lines, and reinsurance.

Benjamin regularly guides insurance industry clients through corporate transactions, provides analysis and advice regarding complex pre- and post-transactional regulatory compliance issues, and represents clients in disputes, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation. His experience includes advising clients with respect to acquisitions, insurance holding company act issues, as well as compliance, licensing, and cybersecurity requirements, including regarding new developments in insurance regulation.

Prior to joining Foley, Benjamin practiced at a boutique commercial law firm in Chicago, where he represented corporations and individuals in state and federal court in a variety of litigation matters involving issues concerning antitrust, employment claims, fraud, partnership and business disputes, restrictive covenants, and general complex commercial and contract disputes.
