Richard L. Teigen is a retired partner with Foley & Lardner LLP, where he was a member of the Transactional & Securities Practice. He focused his practice on general corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on investment company and investment adviser representation, general securities matters, and acquisitions. Richard represented more than 30 mutual funds headquartered throughout the country and regularly counseled issuers and underwriters in public securities offerings, as well as companies buying and selling businesses.
Richard was a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He served on a committee advising the Wisconsin Commissioner of Securities on changes to the Wisconsin Uniform Securities Law to facilitate entrepreneurs’ ability to raise capital in Wisconsin.
