Gabe Wild has experience supporting legal work in privacy, technology, and commercial contracting. He holds a certification from the IAPP as a Certified Information Privacy Professional in the United States (CIPP/US).
As an associate at Foley, he has drafted consumer, employment, and commercial privacy notices and website terms of use in compliance with federal, state, and international law including CCPA, GDPR, and COPPA, as well as advised clients regarding third-party cookies, pixels, session-replay, and other trackers to limit the risk of CIPA, VPPA, and ECPA claims. He has helped clients perform telemarketing and SMS marketing in compliance with TCPA and and industry standards like the CTIA Short Code Handbook. He has experience navigating the line between healthcare privacy laws like HIPAA and state comprehensive consumer privacy laws like CCPA. He has also negotiated, drafted, and reviewed software licensing agreements, data protection agreements, and business associate agreements for clients in a variety of industries.
Prior to joining Foley, Gabe interned with a data-focused AdTech company, where he helped redline commercial contracts, created internal summaries of federal and state advertising laws, and assisted in developing policies for employee interactions with advertisers and content. In this role, he gained valuable experience working with cross-functional teams in legal, engineering, and product development.
