Howard (“Trey”) Wolf III supports clients in the energy and infrastructure industries with a focus on finance, tax equity, and project development transactions. His background combines hands-on experience in energy law and project finance with a deep understanding of tax credit monetization and public utility regulation. Trey brings analytical precision, industry knowledge, and a collaborative approach to advising clients in complex, cross-disciplinary matters.

Trey is a member of the firm’s Finance Practice and Energy Industry Team. Before joining Foley, he gained experience at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), where he supported enforcement investigations and policy research, and held roles at Georgetown University, where he contributed to advancement and executive operations. His practical experience in both the public and private sectors informs his approach to helping clients structure transactions and navigate the evolving energy landscape.
