Dallas Business Journal Discusses Impact of Tax Code on Investors With Chris Converse
January 12, 2018
In its Jan. 12 cover story, the Dallas Business Journal interviewed Gardere’s private equity co-chair Chris Converse on how a loophole could affect the categorization of investment incomes.
“Congress has injected a tremendous amount of additional complexity into our tax code, and it’s difficult at this very early stage to predict how it will affect things like capital raising, choice of entity and sale structures,” Converse said.
A partner in the firm’s corporate practice, Converse directs his practice toward mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, financings, and public and private offerings of debt and equity nationwide.
