Foley & Lardner LLP served as legal advisor to Velocity One, an aerospace and defense platform backed by leading middle-market private investment firm Charlesbank Capital Partners, in its acquisition of Falls Filtration Technologies Inc.
Falls Filtration designs and manufactures air and liquid filtration products serving the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Its products, including air, fuel, oil separation, and hydraulic filters, are used in aircraft, ground vehicles, heavy equipment, marine, power generation and rail applications.
With the addition of Falls Filtration’s specialized filtration capabilities, Velocity One solidifies its position as an industry leader delivering highly engineered systems for aerospace and defense applications. This acquisition follows several recent strategic add-ons by Velocity One, including the February 2026 acquisition of Kaney Aerospace and the 2025 addition of EMCORE Corporation, transactions on which Foley also advised.
