Foley & Lardner LLP partner Michael Okaty has been selected for induction into Orlando Magazine’s Hall of Fame.
Okaty, profiled here, helps companies and their owners accomplish their goals, from formation to raising capital to mergers and acquisitions and beyond. He draws on his tax background and business acumen to advise clients day to day in both their personal and professional endeavors. He also serves as chair of Foley’s Finance Committee and as a member of its Federal PAC.
Orlando Magazine writes that Okaty “has represented many of the region’s most respected companies and organizations and assisted with impactful and high-profile transactions in the market.”
In addition to his legal practice, he has held several leadership roles within the firm, including serving on the firm’s Management Committee, as vice chair of the Industry Teams Department, and as managing partner of the Orlando office. Okaty is also the founder and former chair of the firm’s Senior Living Industry Team. Beyond the firm, he was recently appointed to the Florida Board of Governors.
