Foley & Lardner LLP partner Stephen Olson garnered media coverage for his arrival to the firm’s Houston office.
Olson joins Foley’s Transactions Practice, where he represents private equity firms, public and private companies, and investment banking firms on complex corporate transactions and strategic business matters. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, registered offerings, private placements of debt and equity securities, corporate governance matters, and other general corporate transactions.
Speaking with The Texas Lawyer, he detailed how the firm provides a framework for delivering “true value” to clients while building strong, long-term relationships. Olson said, “Honestly, I don’t even know that rate is one of the things that is top-of-mind anymore for clients. It’s all about value, especially in private equity relationships. These are long-term relationships.”
He added, “Foley is getting it right [on] how do we partner with you…to provide value.”
