Foley & Lardner LLP Partner Carrie Hoffman is quoted in the SHRM article, “NLRB Could Adopt Many Proposed Changes in PRO Act,” discussing the potential impact of the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act. While presently stalled in Congress, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) may have the power to adopt some of the Act’s proposed changes in the absence of legislative action.
Hoffman commented that the Pro Act, if enacted, would increase remedies for violations of workers’ rights, require increased transparency in labor relations, and abolish ‘right-to-work’ laws.
