Dallas ISD highlighted Gardere’s upcoming MLK Jr. Oratory Competition on Friday, Jan. 17 at The Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas. Eight of 180 Dallas ISD students will compete in the competition, answering the question, “If Dr. King were speaking at a March on Washington today, what would he say?” The event is scheduled to take place from 11:00 a.m. to noon and is open to the public.
