Lambert Quoted on Pro Bono Effort For Wounded Soldiers

Three major law firms have united to offer free legal services to wounded war veterans who feel cheated by the government in receiving benefits. Foley & Lardner is one of the three law firms who have partnered with the Disabled American Veterans to offer pro bono services to numerous injured soldiers whose disabilities are being downplayed by the government. Steve Lambert, chair of Foley’s Washington, D.C. Pro Bono Practice, was quoted in the article titled, “Firms Unite in Pro Bono Effort for Wounded Soldiers” in the June 18 issue of the National Law Journal. Lambert was quoted as saying that he expects 50 people from Foley to take part in the project, through training seminars and legal advice to veterans.
