Foley Of Counsel Gregory Husisian authored an article that appeared in the June 2011 issue of Aftermarket Business titled “Basic FCPA Compliance Principles.” Husisian discusses how automotive exporters that operate abroad can establish and implement compliance programs designed to minimize the risk of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations. He adds that an effective compliance program is critical for automotive-sector companies that frequently deal with foreign officials or foreign state-owned companies and that operate in environments where bribery requests are common.
