Gardere litigation partner James G. (Jay) Munisteri will participate in the panel discussion “Being a Better Expert Witness: Real Property Mock Trial” at the American Society of Appraisers 2017 International Appraisers Conference.
The panel, which consists of expert attorneys who specialize in real estate cases, will provide a mock trial evaluating the reasonableness of questionable single-family dwelling appraisal. Real estate appraisers will have the opportunity to observe and understand how to improve their expert witness skills.

In the immediate aftermath of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision invalidating tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), the Trump administration has moved quickly to replace those tariffs with a new across-the-board tariff under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974.
