Partner Jonathan Israel was quoted in a Reuters article on February 10, 2014 titled, “Analysis: U.S. college football players tackle NLRB in bid to unionize.” The article discusses how football players at Northwestern University have kicked off a drive to become the first U.S. college athletes to unionize. Israel was quoted saying, “They're given a scholarship - compensation - in return for services that have nothing to do with academics, it's entirely based on football.”
