Law360 Discusses Kaspersky Lab’s Ties to Russia with Peter Vogel

23 August 2017 News

The chair of Gardere’s Internet, eCommerce and Technology group, Peter Vogel, spoke with Law360 on the potential threats Kaspersky Lab’s ties to Russia pose for both the United States government and consumers.

“Even though Kaspersky has been a leader in cyber technology and has been writing software trying to protect technology, given what’s happened in the last year with the cyber intrusions allegedly from the Russian government, I think there should be some concern about that,” said Vogel.

Renowned as both a trial and transactional lawyer who deeply understands technology, science and IP, Peter Vogel is relied upon by governments and administrative agencies, as well as major corporations and emerging businesses to get right to the heart of an information technology or e-discovery dispute.
