Ruba Assaf

Associate

Ruba Assaf has broad experience working with corporate clients on a wide variety of issues arising in commercial and financial disputes, including distribution, dealership, and antitrust law. Her clients span a range of industries, with a focus on manufacturing and financial services, and she often assists companies in mitigating risk by advising on compliance programs.

Ruba is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

During law school, Ruba was a summer associate at Foley. She also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Justice Rebecca Dallet with the Wisconsin Supreme Court. There, she researched unique legal questions related to pending litigation and drafted bench memos in preparation for oral argument hearings. As part of her legal clinic experience, Ruba advocated for clients with life-threatening illnesses by assisting them with access to care and navigating employment, housing, and other legal issues. She also interned at a healthcare-focused public interest law firm in Madison, WI, during law school.

Prior to pursuing her law degree, Ruba worked as a management consultant for a large technology company.
