Jerry Kerska is an associate and litigation lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Jerry is based in the Milwaukee office, where he is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Jerry has experience assisting clients in a range of complex litigation matters in both state and federal court, as well as in connection with government investigations and enforcement actions.
Before joining Foley, Jerry clerked for the Honorable Karen LeCraft Henderson, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, the Honorable David R. Stras, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, and the Honorable Alex Kozinski, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Education
Jerry earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School (J.D., summa cum laude, 2017), where he was the lead symposium articles editor for the Minnesota Law Review and research assistant to Professors Kristin Hickman and Kevin Reitz. At graduation, he won the Sidney J. Kaplan Legal Scholarship Fund award for outstanding performance.
Before law school, Jerry earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (B.A. 2014). He was a member of the cross country and track and field teams.
