Alexander (Alex) Miska is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Mr. Miska practices general corporate and business law with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Miska was an associate at a prominent law firm in its Boston office. He represented clients in a variety of corporate, securities, and commercial finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and loan originations and modifications. He also advised clients on a broad range of international, federal, state, and local tax matters.
During law school, Mr. Miska interned with PricewaterhouseCoopers in its State and Local Tax practice and with the Litigation Bureau of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
Mr. Miska earned his law degree from Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2014), where he was an editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest. He also received his bachelor’s degree from Boston College (B.A., cum laude, 2011), where he majored in history and minored in economics.
Mr. Miska is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
