Alexander (Alex) Miska is a senior counsel and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He practices general corporate and business law with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of Foley’s Associates Committee and the firm’s Transactions Practice.
Prior to joining Foley, Alex was an associate at a prominent law firm in its Boston office. He represented clients in a variety of corporate, securities and commercial finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements and loan originations and modifications. He also advised clients on a broad range of international, federal, state and local tax matters.
During law school, Alex interned with PricewaterhouseCoopers in its State and Local Tax practice and with the Litigation Bureau of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue.
Alex earned his law degree from Boston College Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2014), where he was an editor of the Uniform Commercial Code Reporter-Digest. He also received his bachelor’s degree from Boston College (B.A., cum laude, 2011), where he majored in history and minored in economics.
