Foley & Lardner LLP represented Drizzy, the Sydney-founded peanut butter brand headquartered in the United States and Australia, in connection with its U.S. structuring and pre-seed funding round backed by RiverPark Ventures, Nucleus Ventures, and Alexis Ohanian.
The investment coincides with Drizzy’s American launch as the company brings its premium squeeze-bottle peanut butter to the U.S. market. Founded by Australian entrepreneurs Jason Spyrides and Georgia Park, Drizzy is modernizing one of America’s most-loved pantry staples with a clean-label product made from American-grown peanuts and a splash of peanut oil, free from added sugar, palm oil, stabilizers, and emulsifiers.
Foley’s venture capital team was led by senior counsel Paige Moscow and partner Alexander Miska with support from associates Laura Burlot and Grace Fucci.
