Joseph N. Ziebert is a partner and intellectual property lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP where he handles intellectual asset procurement and management; intellectual property litigation; and intellectual property due diligence for licenses, agreements, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in both large and small transactions. He is a member and former chair of the firm’s Electronics Practice and a member of the Green Energy Technologies Practice and Medical Devices Industry Team.

Joseph is a graduate of Marquette University (B.S.E.E., magna cum laude, 1988) and the University of Wisconsin (J.D., with honors, 1991).

Joseph is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin. He is also a registered patent attorney, licensed to practice before the United States Patent & Trademark Office and is a member of the American Bar Association and its section of Intellectual Property Law.
