  • Broad based representation of Harley-Davidson in connection with IP-related agreements, information technology contracting and related matters, and privacy and security compliance. Coordinated and negotiated key sponsorships and headline/supporting talent deals for Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebration.

  • Represented Michael Bastian as general counsel of all U.S. and international IP matters. We handled all the designer’s licensing matters, as well as the company’s capital structure and worked with international IBankers on the designer’s expansion round of financing. Michael Bastian was awarded the Council of Fashion Designers of America Menswear Designer of the Year Award in 2011.

  • Represented a nationwide apparel retailer for investigating employee allegations of harassment and retaliation. The matter involved conducting several employee/witness interviews and drafting a summary of the investigation for our client.

  • Represented Italian luxury brand eyewear company in connection with its international licensing and distribution agreements in the U.S.

  • Obtained design patents for Christian Louboutin shoe designs. Represented U.S.-based publicly traded fragrance company in the rollout of its retail operations.

  • Represented a top clothing manufacturer in connection with the negotiation of a build-to-suit lease and purchase and sale agreement for an approximately 150,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

  • Represented a publicly traded retailer in the launch of its online cosmetics company.

  • Represented a high-end jewelry designer/manufacturer in a dispute with one of its exclusive distributors. The distributor refused to pay for amounts due to our client and was holding hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry hostage pending the dispute. We succeeded in negotiating an amicable resolution whereby the client received both full payment and the return of all of its jewelry.

  • Represented a skin and hair care consumer products company in the sale of the company to consortium of private equity firms.
