Kelsey Boehm is a senior counsel litigator at Foley & Lardner LLP. She represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters including class action defense, contract disputes, securities matters, and intellectual property litigation. Kelsey earns clients’ trust by developing a thorough understanding of their business objectives and crafting practical legal strategies tailored to their specific needs. She has substantial experience advising clients in the food and beverage, fashion and beauty, health care, and automotive industries. She has secured favorable results for clients across all phases of litigation, including pleading stage, discovery, summary judgment, mediation, arbitration and trials, and appeals. - Represents clients in multiple industries in connection with enforcing arbitration provisions
- Defends clients against a variety of claims under state and federal consumer protection and privacy laws, typically brought in the context of putative class actions
- Represented public and private companies in cases involving securities fraud violations and disclosure issues
- Represented a health care company during a month-long arbitration hearing, which successfully defended against $250M in breach of contract damages
- Represented reinsurance companies in arbitration hearings, including prevailing on behalf of a ceding company in a multimillion-dollar arbitration involving rate increases under yearly renewable term life-insurance contracts
- Represented a public company under SEC investigation involving revenue recognition and executive compensation issues
- Represents automobile and food manufacturers in breach of contract and warranty claims
- Represents chief executive officer and chief financial officer in securities class action involving fraud claims and disclosure issues
- Represents clients in environmental litigation, including nuisance suits brought by private landowners relating to groundwater contamination and noxious odors
- Represents e-Commerce companies in intellectual property and contract disputes
- Defends retailers against claims that product labels were false and misleading
- Represented clients in administrative proceedings relating to various issues such as environmental permits and Medicaid audits
