Corbett Appointed to Florida Chamber Foundation Infrastructure and Growth Leadership Caucus
Foley is pleased to announce that Kami Corbett, an attorney in the firm’s Tampa office, has been selected for membership in the Florida Chamber Foundation Six Pillars Caucus System. Caucus members are comprised of the State’s “best and brightest” with commitments aligned to one of the “Six Pillars of Florida’s Future Economy.”
The product of years of collaboration and research by the Florida Chamber Foundation, the Six Pillars identify critical factors determining Florida’s future: Talent Supply & Education; Innovation & Economic Development; Infrastructure & Growth Leadership; Business Climate & Competitiveness; Civic & Governance Systems, and Quality of Life & Quality Places.
Corbett will serve on the Infrastructure & Growth Leadership Caucus, which will deliberate on topics such as energy, transportation, water, conservation, emergency preparedness and smarter growth. Her experience representing national and regional clients in matters relating to land use and environmental permitting in multiple jurisdictions throughout Florida makes her uniquely qualified to provide insight into the best practices taking place around the state relating to infrastructure and growth
Caucus members are charged with the task of providing strategic recommendations, corresponding policy options and white papers, which will be shared with the Florida Chamber of Commerce and other partners and could lead to policies that could become priorities for Florida’s economic agenda.
