Foley Partner Bryan House was quoted in an article that appeared in The Business Journal of Milwaukee on September 2, 2010 titled “Are feds ‘piling on’ Sachdeva?” House discusses the SEC’s civil complaint against Sujata Sachdeva for allegedly defrauding investors, stating that the SEC likely filed the complaint in order to get on the legal record that Sachdeva violated federal securities law. He adds that the complaint may also involve the SEC’s case against Sachdeva’s assistant, Julie Mulvaney, noting that the fraud allegation adds little to Sachdeva’s existing convictions for wire fraud.
