Foley & Lardner LLP represented Journal Communications, Inc. in transactions with E.W. Scripps Company to merge the broadcast operations of the two companies, and combine their newspaper businesses into one new publicly traded company.

The Foley team was led by Partners Benjamin F. Garmer, III and Russell E Ryba, as well as Senior Counsel Jason M. Hille. The team also included Partners Jamshed Patel, Linda Benfield and Larry Bonney, as well as Associates Corey Sheahan and Philip Kappell, and Senior Counsel Sarah Slack.
