The article discussed Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and the government’s special rules allowing expanded telehealth services for patients in both the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) and Next Generation ACOs. Lacktman went on to explain how the increased use of telehealth services will create an ideal environment for ACOs to improve their quality and trigger incentive payments.
