Rathburn Profiled in Wisconsin Lawyer

Partner Jennifer Rathburn was profiled in Wisconsin Lawyer’s article, “Jennifer Rathburn: Building a Niche Data Security Practice,” on October 1, 2016. The Q&A style feature discussed Rathburn’s strong foundation in health care law, which has expanded to include a focus on data management, data breach and privacy and security issues. Rathburn explained how lawyers themselves may be the biggest threat to law firm security and said, “Law firms need to weigh the benefits and risks of convenience versus data security when implementing their data privacy and cyber security programs … Companies in every industry should be continually conducting similar risk assessments when implementing their cybersecurity programs.”
