November 1, 2017
Terrell R. Miller, a partner in Gardere’s intellectual property practice group, spoke with Inside Counsel on how to identify, and subsequently protect, a company’s confidential information, including trade secrets.
“Aside from the general concepts that confidential information comprises information of any nature or form that isn’t generally known to the public, the scope of confidential information can be very broad since there are no real black and white definitions applicable,” he explained.
A registered patent attorney, Miller is an intellectual property litigator and counselor who helps Texas businesses from a broad range of industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing and software development.
