Partner Michael Tuteur was quoted in an article in The American Lawyer, “DOJ Memos Making More Appearances in Whistleblower Cases,” about the effects the so-called Brand and Granston memos are having on the defense of whistleblower cases.
Tuteur said the memos have generated a lot of talk, but little or no change, noting that his requests that the government use the memos to scuttle several supposedly frivolous suits have so far been unsuccessful. “My own surmise is that the government is going to use these sparingly,” he said.
