La Razón
Partner Alejandro Gómez-Strozzi was quoted in the La Razón article, “Ottawa y Washington esperan avanzar negociación en NY” about concerns in Mexico over the elimination of NAFTA Chapter XIX. Gomez Strozzi said the legal systems of the three countries are mature and impartial to offer a serious response when it comes to resolutions of commercial disputes. “The cost of participating in an anti-dumping dispute is now quite high. The firms that participate in this type of investigation are usually big companies that either represent a branch of the national industry or large exporting or importing companies, which makes them capable of bearing the costs.”
