Nation’s Best 2020 recognizes law firm partners and high-ranking in-house counsel for their exceptional accomplishments in the legal profession. The award is primarily to acknowledge their sustained career achievements. Honorees are also recognized for their commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.

In light of the 33 attorneys general elections (30 states, Washington, D.C., Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands) in November 2026 there will be, at a minimum, 11 new attorneys general in January 2027.
